Culinary Club Hosts Annual Gingerbread Contest

On December 18, 2013, the culinary club held their annual gingerbread decorating contest. This year 3 groups made of club members and one group made of the club officers. Annalisa Leite, a junior and president of the culinary club, hopes that this tradition continues even after she graduates next year. “It has always been a club favorite and it gets everyone into the holiday spirit. Plus Senora Caldonio loves it and Sister Linda loves to come judge the houses every year!” she says.
“The Culinary club is doing really well this year and I am so happy to be president. The club is very involved this year, and I am very proud of everything we have accomplished so far, including our community service project where we volunteered to help at a Breakfast with Santa at Mother Teresa Regional School. Hope to see everyone at our next bake-sale!” says Leite. This is the fourth year the club has held the contest.
