Both popular and up and coming designers displayed spring 2014 designs at the New York City Fashion Week. The question is, what will spring 2014 fashion bring us?

September 5-12 was Mercedes-Benz fashion week in New York City. This years designers, like Betsey Johnson, Vera Wang, Max Azria, and Ralph Lauren, created their spring lines with and interesting twist. Traditionally spring fashion is represented by soft pastels and floral patterns. This season’s trends include bomber jackets, athletic mesh, and animal prints. Helpful hint: orange is the new black. Some designers even took a new twist on the classic long skirt. Their trick, making pants long and flowing to create the illusion of a skirt with the comfort of pants. Luckily, for short people sneaker wedges are back this season as well.

For those of you who love blue check out Michael Kors. His models strutted in shades of blue and later earth tones. All of you DNKY fans out there, be prepared for their 25th anniversary collection. Betsy Johnson models rocked tutus and bright pink cotton candy hair.

Even celebs joined to watch the new spring lines. Some of the most shocking, Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, and even the Olsen twins. But there were many celebrities who were noticed. People like Nicki Manaj, Bella Thorne, and Jessica Alba.

Overall New York fashion week seemed to be a success.
