On Oct. 2, HBO and Starbucks announced there will be a Veteran’s Day concert held at the Mall in Washington D.C on Nov. 11. This event is titled “The Concert for Valor,” and it will feature musical acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Eminem, Rihanna, Dave Grohl, Zac Brown Band, Carrie Underwood, Jamie Foxx and John Oliver, along with special presenters Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep and Steven Spielberg.

The event is in honor of veterans to show appreciation for their help protecting America and raising awareness for their transition back into normal life. All veterans, families, and supporters are expected to attend. Everyone is welcome to the free concert that will air on HBO. For non HBO subscribers, there will be a signal and all viewers can stream the show. More announcements for celebrity appearances will come in the next few weeks.
