It’s no question that each year, fall fashion lines have consistently taken the fashion world by storm. Besides New York Fashion week and Milan Fashion week, there are hundreds of events that host the designer clothing lines fall fashion shows every year.

At the most recent event, New York Fashion Week, some of the top clothing designers released and presented their fall fashion lines. Just some of the designers who hosted fashion shows this year included Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and Kimora Lee Simmons, just to name a few.

The one designer who took the critics by surprise was Ralph Lauren. His models took on the “runway,” which was actually just the streets of Manhattan, located right outside his store front. His fall collection consisted of classic colors, clean lines, and a western touch.

In an interview by Jocelyn Noveck and Gina Abdy, Lauren stated that he has “always been inspired by the rugged beauty and romance of the American West. The September Collection is imbued with that spirit, but reinterpreted in a modern glamorous way for the woman whose style is both personal and luxurious.”

The trends that seem most popular on and off the runway so far this fall are plaid miniskirts, reconstructed denim jeans, knee high boots, and wind- catching dresses.

It’s no wonder that everywhere you turn, there is someone holding a Michael Kors bag or wearing a Kimora Lee Simmons shirt. These designers have influenced fashion all over the world and are sure to never go out of style.
