This year’s Oscars was a night of jokes and marvelous nominations. Other than the awards, the real winners were on the red carpet as everyone was “dressed to impress”. From dresses to fine suits, many prominent designers were showcased. Versace, Dior, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Givenchy just to name a few.

Leading the pack, Charlize Theron wore a bright red plunging neckline gown by Christian Dior paired with a long diamond pendant which made her the conversation of the night.

Alicia Vikander,  who won best supporting actress for her work in The Danish Girl, wore a dress that was inspired by the Disney Princess Belle. This dress was a yellow strapless Louis Vuitton with silver embellishments throughout. Margot Robbie, took the Golden Statue to heart and wore a solid gold colored plunging long-sleeve gown by Tom Ford styled with ForeverMark Diamonds.

Lady Gaga donned a pure-white jumpsuit-esque gown with a sweetheart neckline created by her stylist Brandon Maxwell.  Best Actress nominee for Room, Brie Larson modeled a custom blue ruffled Gucci by Alessandro Michele gown with an intricately detailed belt.

The gentleman of the night made some statements too. Jared Leto worked a custom Gucci by Alessandro Michele black suit with red detailing and a red floral pin instead of a tie. Leto finished the look by adding snake motiffed black slippers also by Gucci. The Big Short star, Christian Bale wore black everything from head to toe, by Dolce and Gabbana.

Kevin Hart sported a black on black suit and bowtie with a twist. His suit jacket had black rhinestones lined throughout it. Star of Room, Jacob Tremblay walked the carpet with his special touch, Star Wars socks. Pharrell Williams added to the fashion by rolling up his pants above his ankles to show some skin with his no-socked loafers and a classic suit, much different from his well-known ranger hat.
