Hi! I am Marina Murillo and I am sophomore at Saint John Vianney High School. I haven’t always loved writing. When I was younger, I would dread writing because I could never think of what to say or how I wanted my story to go. Recently, I realized that I don’t need to plan every aspect of my story, but rather let the ideas come to me as I go. Now, I love writing because it acts like an art form. Journalism is yet another way I can impact people with my words and important/interesting stories that I want to share. Along with writing, I participate in many school activities, such as soccer and track. I am excited to begin my first year as a writer for Lancer's Point!
