Are you and your partner interested in fun couple activities at Christmas or Thanksgiving? There are many fun activities to get into the Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit.
Personally, my favorite is baking holiday treats with my boyfriend. This festive activity is a great way to kick off the holiday season. One of the best treats is chocolate chip cookies. It’s a classic and never gets old. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy your cookies with your boyfriend and family. You can also make cookies and leave some for Santa on December 24th. Not only can you make chocolate chip cookies, but you can also make sugar cookies with festive cutouts. Making delicious sugar cookies in the shapes of Christmas trees, stars, snowflakes, candy canes and more is an ideal way to spread Christmas cheer!
Since it’s getting colder, many people prefer indoor rather than outdoor activities. One fun activity that always impresses is bowling. One upside is that you don’t need to know how to bowl! You are guaranteed a fun time. It’s the perfect way to bring your loved ones together to share memories and laughs.
Instead, if you enjoy being out, ice skating would be the perfect activity. A great place to go outdoor ice skating is in New York at the Wollman Rink. But if you want to ice skate somewhere indoors and in New Jersey, somewhere to go is the Oldbridge Ice skating rink. You can rent skates or bring your own, and it is an excellent activity because there are still snacks you can buy while they refresh the ice.
One perfect way to prepare for Thanksgiving is to get a sneak peek at the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats. Every Wednesday, the night before Thanksgiving, you can lose the floats shown the next day. They are being shown at The Natural Museum of History on the Upper West Side, 79th Street, and Columbus Avenue and viewed around Columbus Avenue, 77th Street, Central Park South, and 81st Streets. Then, you can wake up early the following day to watch the parade in person or on TV!
Making gingerbread houses with your boyfriend or girlfriend is a perfect, fun, at-home activity! This is an excellent way to express creativity and spend time with your partner. You can either bake or buy the gingerbread house. My favorite part is watching the whole house come together when decorating it with candy.
Another fun and classic activity is snuggling up by the fireplace and having a movie marathon. This isThis is a good bonding activity, and you can and you can get matching pj’s with your partner and eat snacks and other delicious foods you could’ve baked before that. It is a cozy experience, and it can reduce tensions and provide a neutral ground for relaxation and laughter, away from the pressures and drama of each other’s social lives. It is a great festive activity because you can watch Christmas movies to get into the Christmas spirit!
Do you love shopping as much as I do? If so, you can go shopping with your partner on Black Friday. It brings an end to Thanksgiving and gives a fun welcome to Christmas. You can shop for your family members while spending quality time with your partner. It makes what can be perceived as a dreadful activity more enjoyable because you do it with someone you love.
Lastly, a famous sign of Christmas and winter is snow! There are so many fun things to do with snow, making winter more enjoyable. For example, you can spend the day sledding. It’s a perfect excuse to hold tight to your partner while racing down the snow-covered hill. Another example is having a snowball fight. It’s a fun way to have a friendly competition and build forts to defend yourself. You can also bring out your inner child and make snow angels in the snow and, also make snowmen and dress them up in cute outfits.
