After a 14- month hiatus, the Foo Fighters are back. In late 2012, at the Global Citizens Festival, Dave Grohl, front man of the band said they would be a taking a break for a while, but no one knew that break wouldn’t last too long. The Foo Fighters have begun rehearsing again and will play their first live show in a year, in Mexico City on December 13.

Before getting on a plane to Mexico, on Monday the band surprised 200 fans at a pizza joint in Los Angeles, California. The concert was a very intimate setting and the band performed all their greatest hits, making it a 2- hour concert for the lucky people.

Expect much more from the band in 2014, as they plan to start recording their new album. “Well, I’ll tell you, we have been in our studio writing, and in the past few weeks we’ve written an album and we are going to make this album in a way that no one’s ever done before, and we’re pretty excited about it,” said Grohl.

Get ready because the, Foo Fighters, are going to make a killer album and hopefully do a lot of touring for the eager fans that have been waiting for them.
