The Bagel Nook opened a new location in Aberdeen on July 27, 2024. The address is
1071 NJ-34 a2, Aberdeen Township, NJ 07747, in the Aberdeen Town Square Center. This bagel
store is open 7:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and 7:00 am – 2:00 pm on Sunday. Alex
Berkowitz, the owner, and his father David opened up the first bagel nook in 2015, located in
Freehold. Since then, they have been building Bagel Nooks all around New Jersey, and are now
located on Route 34 too. When Alex and David opened their first bagel nook, they had a dream
to do something big. They began to make bagels and came up with flavored cream cheese. In an
interview with the Asbury Park Press, David said, “After the cream cheese, we had to do
something more crazy.” This was when they got the idea to make flavored bagels. Once they
began to assemble bagels, they stuffed them, making them their famous overload bagels.
The Bagel Nook is known for its overload bagels. They also have regular bagels, spreads,
crazy cream cheese, egg breakfast platters, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, french
toast, sandwiches, wraps, deli sandwiches, paninis, salad sandwiches, truck sandwiches, grilled
cheese, quesadillas coffee, and other bakery items and drinks. This bagel shop has the most
unique and insane flavors. They create seasonal flavors, along with different-shaped bagels for
holidays. The overload bagels are filled with flavored cream cheese and stuffed with cookies,
brownies, cakes, fresh fruit, bacon, chips, or donuts. The cream cheese and stuffings depend on
which overload bagel you get. If you do not like the overload bagel flavors, you can mix and
match and make your own with different bagels and cream cheese. The Oreo overload is the
Bagel Nook’s most famous overload bagel. This was the first overloaded bagel Alex and David
created, and customers come to the bagel store for it daily. Come check out this bagel nook for a
delicious breakfast or lunch!
