Tonight at 6 p.m. the boys football team heads to Lawrenceville to take on the Notre Dame Irish for the first game of states. This game means a lot to the team as well as the school. The team is entering the playoffs for the first time since 2017. With the regular season behind them, they are ready for playoff football. During the regular season, they had a record of 7-3, which is a major improvement from last year where they were 3-7. Tonight a major factor in the result of the game is running back Abdul Turay. Turay has had an outstanding season with an astonishing 1914 rushing yards, hoping to break the 2000-yard mark this game. Notre Dame on the other hand has also had an impressive season with a record of 6-4. There is a lot of build-up to this game and the Lancers are more than ready to come away with the win.
