Marvel Studios Introduces Superhero Diversity

Public Service Announcement for all Marvel Studios fanatics: get ready to meet your very first African American and female lead superheroes: Black Panther and Captain Marvel.

At a press conference on October 29, Marvel Studios announced their full film schedule from now up until the end of 2019. This assortment of upcoming movies introduces two new superheroes to the comic book film empire named ‘’Black Panther’’ and ‘’Captain Marvel.’’

‘’Black Panther’’ is set to be played by ‘’Get on Up’’ and ‘’42’’ star, Chadwick Boseman. The ‘’Black Panther’’ character made his comic book debut in July 1966 and was also the first black superhero in mainstream American comics. The film is scheduled to be released in November 2017.

T’Challa will be the true identity of Black Panther. T’Challa is a gifted diplomat, schemer, researcher, hunter, and an expert of all practices of weaponless warfare. His unique crossbreed style of combat combines aerobics and facets of animal imitation. T’Challa is a noble descendant of a warrior tribe, a master of armed combat, and capable of using an assortment of firearms. He is a master designer who always thinks several steps ahead and will go to great lengths to accomplish his goals and defend the nation of Wakanda.

Making her Marvel debut, the female ‘’Captain Marvel’’ was presented in the comic book realm in 1968. The actress to play ‘’Captain Marvel is yet to be cast. The film is to be slated for July 2018.

Ms. Marvel’s existing powers will comprise of flying, superior muscle strength, resilience and the capability to shoot intense energy surges from her fingers. Captain Marvel is also a gifted pilot and powerful fighter.
