As Christmas is getting closer, Christmas songs are playing in almost every store all over. As soon as it hit November 1st people immediately started to play Christmas songs. A lot of the songs are Christmas classics. These are only a list of top five Christmas classic songs.  

The first song on this list has to be “Christmas time is here”. This song is heard in the Christmas classic short film “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. There are two versions of this song, there is a vocal version which is heard in the short film, and there is just the instrumental version. Both of these versions are classic Christmas songs. 

The second top Christmas song is “All I want For Christmas is you” By Mariah Carey. This song is another classic Christmas song. When you say “Christmas” people immediately associate it with this song, however this is not actually an original song as the majority of Christmas songs are a cover. The original version was released in 1989 by Vance Vince & Valiants. 

A third Christmas classic is “White Christmas” By Bing Crosby. This Christmas song is a classic, every radio station always plays this song. Everyone has at least heard of this Christmas song and are able to at least sing one lyric. 

A fourth Christmas classic is “Rockin’ around the Christmas tree” By Brenda Lee. This song such as White Christmas is played a lot on the radio. This song is a classic Christmas song and everyone is sure to sing along to the lyrics. 

The fifth and final top classic Christmas song would have to be “Santa Claus is comin to town” There are so many versions of this classic Christmas song. The first version of this song came out in the 70’s and has since then been many different versions of the same song. This song title is also a title of a short film that also came out in the 70’s.
