The Boys’ Junior Varsity Volleyball team pulled off an exciting comeback victory on Wednesday evening, defeating Wall High School 25-21 in a hard-fought match at home.
Although the game began with a shaky start, the Lancers quickly turned things around. In the early plays, the team struggled to find their rhythm, with communication breakdowns and missed opportunities allowing Wall to take an early lead. But following a strategic timeout and motivating talk from Coach Preston, the energy shifted.
“The boys just needed to reset,” Coach Preston said after the game. “And that’s exactly what happened. The Lancers came back with renewed focus and intensity, going on a scoring run that flipped the momentum of the game. Improved communication, smart plays, and solid teamwork carried them through the rest of the match, ultimately sealing the 25-21 win.
This victory reflects the growth and resilience of the JV squad as they continue to develop their skills and chemistry on the court. With strong leadership from their coaching staff and a growing sense of confidence, the team is looking ahead to the rest of the season with high hopes.
The Lancers will return to the court soon as they continue to build on this momentum and prove themselves as a competitive force in the league.
