SJV’s First-Ever Easter Egg Hunt!

Saint John Vianney’s Italian Club is getting in the holiday spirit and hosting the first-ever school-wide Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will take place after school this Friday, April 8th.

To participate in the hunt, students have until Friday to buy a special bag for egg collection. Each bag costs $2 and can be bought in classroom 208. More than 200 students have already signed up for the Easter Egg hunt!

This hunt was organized by the Italian Club and their moderator, Mrs. Del Cogliano. “After the COVID restrictions, I really felt it was time for the students to have fun and I wanted my club to plan something meaningful for the community,” explains Mrs. Del Cogliano. “The Italian club worked very hard to plan it and the teachers who have decided to participate were really amazing! I hope it’s going to be fun for everybody!”

Students can have fun scavenging for eggs that are filled with all sorts of goodies. Besides being filled with delicious Easter candy, eggs may contain other prizes such as homework passes, extra credit points, fun games, class activities, presents, teachers’ trivia, free lunch, baked goods, and more! There are also golden tickets hidden in six eggs that can even exempt you from detention.
