When it came to Joan Rivers nothing about the comedian was too over the top. She brought laughter to everyone until the bitter end. Her death came upon everyone as a huge surprise, it all started after she stopped breathing during her throat surgery on August 28 at a Manhattan clinic.

River’s greatest joy in life was making people laugh, but she wasn’t just a comedian she was also an actress, talk show host and reality television star. Her comedy career took off when she got booked on the “Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.” She later left the show for her own late night talk show called “That Show.” Rivers soon underwent a series of career setbacks throughout the years. Her show was cancelled and she lost her husband and producer of 22 years, Edgar Rosenberg, he committed suicide in 1987.  But all that didn’t stop Rivers, she served as a host of the E! series Live from the Red Carpet from 1996-2004. No celebrities were ever spared from her harsh jokes and fashion critiques. Her latest television show that she hosted was, Fashion Police, this was all about Rivers and her co-hosts opinions on celebrities down right awful and dropped dead gorgeous red carpet outfits.

Sadly her career came to an unexpected end on September 4, 2014 when she passed away at the age of 81. News reports indicated that Rivers went into cardiac arrest and then was placed in a medically induced coma and put on life support. On September 1, it was reported that Rivers was slowly being taken out of the coma. Rivers, daughter Melissa released a statement thanking everyone for the overwhelming love and support for her mother. Rivers may be gone, but that won’t stop her from looking down on everyone and critiquing their most horrific and stunning outfits.
