Outer Banks season 4 is finally here! The last time we got a new season of Outer Banks was February 23rd, 2023. The new season premiered on October 10th, 2024. Fans had to wait over a year to get a new season. Outer Banks decided they would premiere the show in two parts. The second part is planned to come out on November 7th, 2024. Spoiler alert – the first five episodes left us on a massive cliffhanger! Luke isn’t JJ’s blood dad. JJ is a fan favorite, and fans have been speaking out and saying, “You can’t kill off our favorite character”! Outer Banks hit the #1 spot in the Netflix Top 10 only after a few hours of release! Right now, Outer Banks is still at that #1 spot, and it seems not to be moving. I asked some friends what they thought of the season; here are their thoughts.
Junior; Tyler Shpiro – “It was good, the show ended on a good cliffhanger, and I can not wait for the next five episodes”!
Senior; Ava Burke – “I was scared the entire time JJ was bike racing. My heart was racing. I am excited about the new episodes and like the new storyline.”
Sophomore; Kate Albano – “Every episode kept me on my toes. Every time I thought they would live a normal life, something happened. I can’t wait for the next five episodes to come out!”
For those who haven’t watched the new season yet, here is a recap of what you can expect. Following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, Season 4 takes us back in time to the lead-up to that moment. After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the OBX and commit to having a “normal” life. But of course, knowing the Pogues, their life can’t stay that good for long.
