In this article, the top 5 best ageappropriate Halloween classics will be listed in order to binge this spooky season.Number One: The Nightmare Before ChristmasThe Nightmare Before Christmas is a true classic. Jack Skellington, viewed in the picture, is thepumpkin king of Halloween and was tired of following the same routine every year. He falls uponChristmastown and decides to open the door not knowing what to expect. He feels the warmthof Christmas with all the lights, presents, and happiness and decides to take it upon himself tobecome the new Santa Claus. But the worst was yet to come!Number Two: HalloweentownHallowentown is a featured Disney movie around the time of Halloween every year. Marnie andher siblings follow their grandma home to where they find Halloweentown. They soon find outthat their grandma is a witch and their whole family bloodline are witches as well. Marnie isshocked to find out that not only is her a grandma a witch, but she is as well. While finding thisout, she is also concerned with all the evil in the world and how they will put a stop to it.

Number Three: Coraline
Coraline is a animated film about a young girl that finds a secret door in her new house leadingto a world very similar to hers. Although it seemed the same, Coraline thinks this world is somuch better than her actual life. She soon comes to realize that her parallel family wants tokeep her there forever and she needs to find a way out back to her real life and her real family.Number four:Hocus Pocus is a featured movie every year around Halloween and can also be watched onDisney Plus. The movie is based in Salem, Massachusetts where a boy named Max his youngersister and their new friend Allison are exploring an abandoned house near their new house.Upon searching the house, Allison warns the siblings of the story of the Salem witches. Maxproceeds to accidentally let out the evil witches from the coven and they have a chance tobecome immortal. They must get the witches spellbook and reverse the spell before it’s too late.

Number Five: Ghostbusters
Ghostbusters has come out with multiple versions of the movie but no matter which one youwatch it will always be a classic. The movie starts with three men named Harold, Dan, and Billwho were all scientists that lost their jobs in New York City at a University. They decided that inorder to have a paying job, they would become professional “ghostbusters” in exchange formoney. They soon find out that there is more to it then just ghostbusting, and that in order tokeep the city from complete destruction, they must shut the door to the other dimension.After reviewing all these movies, I hope to have sparked more interest in watching any of themin this coming holiday season. I have personally watched all these movies and enjoyHalloweentown the most! They’re all age appropriate so you can even watch some with yourfamily/younger siblings.
