Since Fall has arrived, pumpkin picking, hay rides, and more activities have begun.
Many farms have started to open their Fall activities, such as pumpkin picking, apple picking,
spooky attractions, and hayrides!
Located in Freehold, NJ, Wemrock Orchards has some Fall snacks. Starting with their
apple cider and apple cider donuts. These treats are one of Wemrock’s most popular food
items. Wemrock Orchards freshly bakes their pies using only the best ingredients and different
fruits. In Wemrock Orchards, you can also pick all kinds of apples.
Next, in Freehold, NJ, you can visit Battleview Orchards. Throughout the fall season,
Battleview offers many activities, including hay rides, picking your pumpkins and apples, and
more. This orchard has a “pick your own” deal on certain days where you can select your fruit.
They have 19 kinds of apples for all your apple desires! The pumpkins are ready to pick, and
their hayrides are only on weekends, so make sure not to miss them!
Stop in Jackson, NJ, and head to Six Flags Great Adventure if you’re up for a thrill. Six
Flags Fright Fest starts in the middle of September and ends at the start of November. Fright
Fest includes eight haunted houses to walk through by purchasing the Haunted Attractions
Pass. On top of this, countless scare actors walk around the park. Six Flags is also holding
Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is a German food festival where you can enjoy various German foods
and drinks. It starts on September 7th and runs through November 3rd.
You can head to Casola Farms in Holmdel, NJ, for even more thrills. This farm has four
haunted attractions: a haunted hayride, a 3D experience in a haunted barn, a zombie
experience, and more. Casola Farms’ haunted attractions are open every Friday and Saturday
from September 27th through November 2nd from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There is also a gift shop
Located in Manalapan, NJ, Maple Leaf Farms holds its Fall Fun Fest. This event is open
from September 14th through October 27th on weekends. Tickets are sold for $24 per person
and $20 for senior citizens. There are over activities, including pedal carts, a corn maze,
pumpkin bowling, a pony pen, and many more. As for additional costs, you can ride the train,
