Hey, my name is Maya Colon and I am a sophomore at Saint John Vianney High School. I like to write poems and articles about things that interest me. Besides writing, I absolutely love to capture and edit pictures. I do play sports and I am involved in many clubs at SJV, such as Latino Club and Animal Awareness Club. Being involved in the journalism program at school was a great decision for me, since I am pretty new to the community. Journalism is very exciting and reminds me that writing for school can be fun. I am excited to begin my first year at Lancer’s Point!
