The MTV Awards were last week, and many awards were given out, but along with everything
else, there was plenty of style. They were held at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on September 7, 2025.
The MTV Awards are held to honor the best in the music industry and also to celebrate pop culture. They
originally focused on music videos MTV Awards, also known as the VMAs, have evolved to honor
excellence across various musical genres. This ends up drawing millions of young viewers annually and
increasing album and song sales and streams for performing artists. Many different kinds of awards are
also given out, such as Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and
numerous others. Ariana Grande ultimately won Video of the Year for her “Brighter Days Ahead,” and
overall, she took home a total of three awards. Sabrina Carpenter took home three “Moon Person”
trophies, including album of the year for “Short n’ Sweet. There were other winners as well, such as
Rose, who won Song of the Year for APT with her collaboration with Bruno Mars.
With everything else, there was also a lot of style; there was a wide range of styles and dresses.
Sabrina Carpenter wore a red Valentino gown, Doja Cat wore a Balmain dress, Ariana Grande was in a
custom Fendi polka-dot gown. There were many other outfits as well, along with some collaborations
and different styles. Again, with everything else, all of the artists were very appreciative, especially
Ariana Grande, saying in her speech, “Art has been a safe space for me since I was a kid. I’m so grateful
that I get to do this with my life and to have such fiercely loving and supportive fans.” She showed how
excited and happy she was to be able to receive the reward
