Every student and teacher at SJV has a laptop and charger to use at their command. To make sure everyone gets the right laptop and charger, all students and teachers are encouraged to personalize their laptops and accessories as they choose. Decorating your laptop is your way of expressing who you are and how you see yourself.

Some students use stickers from their favorite store or brand, like Vans or Volcom. Others like to use decorative duct tape to design their tablets. Girls will use something like paint splatters or pink zebra print duct tape to spice up the boring laptop. Some use just regular stickers of things like butterflies or even spell out their name in stickers to really make sure they get the right laptop.

Chargers are also very important and students do not want to lose it or have someone take theirs by accident. To stop this from happening, students write their name on a piece of paper or a piece of duct tape and place it on the box part of the charger to make sure everyone can see it.

If students are feeling very crafty, they can take out the frame around the keyboard and paint it to add some pizazz when they are typing. Adding a pop of color can bring a smile to a students face as they are typing notes for that one class that might not be their favorite.

There are a lot of people in SJV, so misplacing a laptop or a charger is not uncommon. Adding personality to a laptop and charger can help the student and other students to organize better, not to mention its an exciting craft to do on a rainy day.
