Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour has been captivating the nation since the opening night on May 5 in Tokyo, Japan. The vibrant 2 hour show that Swift puts on has caught the eye of many- including other celebrities.

Since June, Swift has invited a special guest on stage with her almost every night. These guests are not only musical artist. They range from actors, models, talk show hosts, and even the Women’s US Soccer Team.

If she has a musical guest, she will treat her audience by singing a song with the artist appearing. On July 12th at MetLife stadium, Nick Jonas came to the stage and the duo performed his hit song “Jealous.” Jonas was one of the many to hit Swift’s stage; Jason Derulo, John Legend, Imagine Dragons, Fifth Harmony, Fetty Wap, and many more.

Along with musical guests, Swift has had her fair share of models, athletes and actors. Her Victoria’s Secret Angel friends: Cara Devine, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid strut the stage while Swift performs her hit song “Style.”  Kobe Bryant and the Women’s US Soccer team “shook it off” just a few days after they won the World Cup. Lisa Kudrow, or better known as Phoebe Buffay from the hit TV show “Friends” performed one of her originals with Swift. Their duet to “Smelly Cat” at the Staples Center this summer had the country in shambles.

The special guests that have caught everyone’s attention was Julia Roberts and Joan Baez. The two multi-famous celebrities were backstage pre-show for a meet and greet with Swift. Swift posed the question if they wanted to come on stage and strut their stuff with her during the song “Style.” Of course the two agreed excitedly!
Along with Roberts and Baez, every person who has been a guest on the 1989 Tour has done if for the experience. Swift simply asks people she knows who are already attending the concert, or in the area if they want to come out and perform with her. To conclude, the celebrity that attends gets no money or compensation: it’s all for good and fun!
